Out on the Farm

Dad picks weeds up around the house.
A stop in Kansas usually means a visit to the Longaway Farm. The odd little zoo my Dad is running was teeming with life, from goats to peacocks to pigs. I much prefer a May visit to the freezing January ones I have had in recent memory.
The rest of this post is really just cute animal pics, with a highlight being the pretty peacock feathers. If you are ever in the area, I am sure my Dad could use a helper while feeding animals.
Cole and all his fuzzy friends.
The farms looks really green these days.
Ugh. Cole thought it would be funny to throw a snake skin on me and watch me freak out.
Oh, Kitty.
The three goats live in the chicken/peacock/goose/guineafowl pen.
Meet the cutest goat.
Again, what a cute mini goat.
This guy is big and likes to throw his head and horns around at the others to get to the weeds.
Any time you come to the fence, they jump on it in hopes that you have weeds for them.
Big horns for a little goat.
The peacock gets ready to show off his feathers.
What pretty colors :)
He also shakes his feathers when they are all displayed — trying to get the ladies.
The pigs chow down under the cloudy, blue Kansas sky.
