Trivia Tuesday: The 10 University Mascot Challenge Answered
Posted by Brenna Malmberg
Not a lot of takers on guessing. But thanks to those few interested Ellsworth amigos who took a second to look and do some guessing. If you didn't look at the original trivia. STOP NOW and click here.
But, before you see the answers, one more quick look at the ever-so-cute Baby Jay.
1. Western Kentucky University, Big Red: He is suppose to look like a hill. I suppose he is an odd, cute hill of sorts.
2. University of Nebraska at Kearney, Louie the Loper: Shout out to my sister-in-law, Kady! Put your lopes up!
3. Pennsylvania State University, Nittany Lion: He looks an awful lot like my high school mascot. Cheap, creepy, and probably smells funny.
4. Texas Christian University, Super Frog: I like purple and I like frogs. It's a winner. A super winner perhaps. I welcome that to the Big 12.
5. Iowa State University, Cy the Cardinal: When I think pretty cardinal, I don't think Cy.
6. University of Virginia, Virginia Cavalier: The new hometown mascot. But we hear they call they chant "Go 'Hoos." Yes, they would rather be called wahoos than cavaliers. It's true.
7. Wichita State University, WuShock: Some Kansas school had to be wheat I suppose.
8. University of Oregon, The Oregon Duck: So friendly, and he reminds me of another great duck.
9. University of California, Los Angeles; Joe and Josephine Bruin: Just a couple of happy bears. Maybe they can double date with Albert and Alberta Gator.
10. Oklahoma State University–Stillwater, Pistol Pete: Eww. Maybe that is he doesn't have tons of images with fan.
Thanks for playing.
Kady
Mom told me to check out your blog! Thanks for the shout out :) I'm sure not many people knew Louie the Loper! He's pretty cute. On the other hand, Pistol Pete is siiiick.
