A win, but a cold one

The Foster Farms Bowl at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara looks a little empty.
How often do the Nebraska Cornhuskers play in California? Not often enough for my Husker husband. So, when we heard that they were going to play in the Foster Farms Bowl at Levi's Stadium (where the 49ers play) in Santa Clara, which is just down the Peninsula from us.
Bundled in some of Cole's Husker sweatshirts, we hopped on the train and the light rail train, and finally arrived in front of the stadium — avoiding 101, traffic and parking fees. In hindsight, the traffic we probably at a minimum because there weren't tons of people at the game.
At the game, we did all the regular things: watch the band, eat nachos, cheer, say Go Big Red, etc. Sadly, as the night went on, it got a bit chilly. I luckily didn't freeze to my chair, and the Huskers won! In between, I snapped a bunch of photos and took some touchdown videos. Enjoy a glimpse of our view!
We are slightly bundled and ready to watch the Huskers take on UCLA.
The band — spelling Huskers and all.
Go, Huskers!
Catching passes, not just that running the ball stuff.
I loooove football ...
When Husker fans are mad about a face mask no-call.
First touchdown!

Touchdown pile! (No. 12 is my favorite part of that video)
Another one!
We are all smiles after the Husker victory!
It's a win, so everyone meets in the middle of the field.
All the players and staff gather in the middle of the field for the awards ceremony.

We use our public transit skills to ride the train back to Redwood City.
During our train ride back home, I took a time-lapse video of a little girl and her brother. Pretty sure they were incapable of sitting still — and pretty sure they were cute.

How fun!
