Chipotle Envelope Liner

Use a Chipotle bag as an envelope liner.

I just have a little envelope to share today. It's a simple blank card from Michael's that I dressed up with an envelope liner, washi tamp, calligraphy and a Johnny Cash stamp. Mostly, I am excited about this Chipotle envelope liner. Yes, Chipotle!?! I mean, that tasty place could only enhance snail mail.

If your frequency Chipotle as often as I do, which not to brag, but I am the Duchess of the Charlottesville Chipotle on Yelp, you might have a Chipotle bag lying around. Just flatted the sack out, trace the edge of your envelop along it, cut the rest to fit inside your envelope and add some glue. If that doesn't help, The Postman's Knock can explain further. She is awesome at explaining all things arts and crafts. Also, you don't have to limit it to Chipotle envelope liners. You can use any paper or thin, cuttable material. I used scrapbook paper back on our Christmas cards.

For the rest of my envelope, I doubled up some purple, and black and gold wash tape. I ran it vertically around; I have to mix it up.

My calligraphy is just a freestyle version of the different fonts I have been practicing. Sometimes it's nice to see what just naturally comes out of my hand. I was pleased with the spontaneous results. Oh, and that shimmer/glare on the ink comes from iridescent ink. When dry, this black ink has more of a dark gray look. I'm a fan of gray, so be on the watch for more grayscale creations.
