Luck hasn't been on my side when it comes to finding a full-time journalism job. I am still looking, but for now, I will just have do a bunch of part-time jobs.

Today, I added another job to my list: coaching. I will be coaching at Solid Rock Gymnastics. Back in my gymnastics years, I competed there every spring. It was always the meet with poodle skirts and stain glass window trophies. Now, I am coaching there. I will get to coach a little of everything, from preschool to intermediate levels.

While I didn't get a degree in coaching, I do have about 14 years of experience. Thankfully, that counts for something. And with the evening, part-time hours, I can still design and do freelance writing and photography. Plus, I will always love gymnastics, so I am glad I can continue to be a part of the sport.
