Fast & Furious Christmas 2016
Posted by Brenna Malmberg
Phew. We made it through Christmas. Through the flights, and the drives and the nights of little sleep. During the four-ish days we were back, we hit up both sides of the family for Christmas celebrations. In case you want to see what that looks like on a map, you can check it out here:
We had a great time swapping presents with everyone and playing lots of games. Plus, it warmed up and didn't snow on the Californians while we were back. I only got my camera out on our last day, Monday, Dec. 26, so I don't have a full recap of the trip. But ... you can see the farm and some of the crazy animals that live there. :)
Brown, brown and more brown views from the road in front of my house.
Mom excitedly holds up all of her little bags of presents.
After presents, Dad quickly does chores while the rest of us visit with the animals.
Dad carries down some water and food for the animals.
Bunker longingly looks through the fence, wishing I would feed him.
This pig chows down as soon as the bowl has food.
Apparently, this is what my Dad does with unhatching peacock eggs ...
The rooster eyes the goat's bowl of corn.
And then they butt heads, literally.
And then they butt heads, literally.
After some ruffled feathers, they each find a place to eat.
Goats are silly.
Jesse carries a goat down to the barn. He's just a little guy still.
Gavin and Magnet stay away from all the big animals.
Cole says hello to the donkeys. They aren't so sure if they want pets from this guy.
Oh Gavin, you're fat.
Magnet wishes he could go in with the little pigs.
Gavin wonders why I'm not on the other side of the fence. His name is Bunker.
Farm boy :)
Getting them to take a photo can be tricky, so you end up with things like this.
I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas!
