Celebrate the soon-to-be-bride with flowers and calligraphy on a chalkboard.

Congrats to the soon-to-be Mrs., and to her sister for pulling off a great bridal shower.

With so many shower puzzle pieces to assemble, I happily agreed to help Michelle with the bridal shower invites. She passed along a few ideas, and I got to drawing. Yes, pencil on paper drawing. Those vibrant florals that grace the front of the card were drawn by me. (I actually talked about all this over on my free phone background download. Here is the hand-drawn flower scanned. From there, it became what you see on the bridal shower invite.

Back to the bridal shower … Michelle creatively came up with the recipe card presents for Chelsea. I used that same flower to decorate the little recipe cards. I was really excited about how the whole package came together.
