Hiking Old Rag Mountain
Posted by Brenna Malmberg
Loving these views from Old Rag Mountain.
Today, Cole and I joined four other people on a hike up Old Rag Mountain. Personally, I was a little worried. This 8-mile hike includes scrambling on boulders and well, 8 miles. But, as of this blog, I am safely at home in my jammies drinking ice water. I am sore now, and expect troubles walking tomorrow, but ... I am glad I made the trek and conquered this beast.
Hope you enjoy these pictures from our hike, especially this beautiful fall foliage we have.
Cole is excited to hike Old Rag Mountain for the second time.
Through teamwork, we make it up and down this rocky mountain top.
Virginia is so pretty in the fall.
Cole is ready to join the line of hikers.
Becca climbs on the rocks.
Oh, hey.
Must be the flex zone.
After some crazy climbing on rocks, we take a lunch break.
Beautiful views greet us at the summit.

Cole off doing crazy boulder jumping.
While the walk down was long and less exciting, the trees glowed this beautiful yellow.
We made it to the summit. :)

Looks like fun. Wish I was there to take part in the trek. I'm a sucker for those great views and fall foliage.
