Green Speak: Building a Windy Future

This green, wind energy story was originally written in 2009 for Blue SKy Green Earth Magazine. It features none other than Skye Long, my brother.

It began as a small breeze in 2006, but since then has started creating large gusts.

The Wind Energy Program at Cloud County Community College in Concordia, Kan. continues this August with more than 120 students and a waiting list.

Photo Friday: Alphabet Search

Finding letters in everyday life can be a challenge. You have to think abstractly about every bench, bike, lamp pole or plant. This "B" I found while I was out for an interview for Cook of the Week.

Cole and I went to campus last night to try to find more letters. We successfully found all the letters to spell Malmberg. The rest of the alphabet is still out there, somewhere, for us to find.

So as I thought about my first blog for the category, Cole thought of one of his favorite international stories I have told. It deals with pets, but we will get to the specifics in a minute. . . .
