Back in January, I entered a contest to win a pair of custom Big Boi sneakers from Converse. I was one of 10 lucky winners! Yesterday, I got them in the mail and quickly laced them up.
These are the first high-tops I have owned; my other couple of Converse were all low-top and purple, of course. . . .

Happy Valentine's Day!
Tonight we celebrated our second married Valentine's Day with heart-shaped pizza and a cinnapie. So yummy! It isn't a fancy dinner, but I am not a fancy fan, so it was perfect. I like quality time more. :) Plus, we watched Brave. I definitely recommend it. . . .

A big win is followed by a bazillon stories, videos, posts and tweets. KU destroying K-State last night didn't fail and led to some more great dance moves like the ones above.

On April 9, 1865, history took place in the small village of Appomattox Court House.
Things happen in history and you learn key phrases and buzz words. (If you remember it all, props to you.) For me, Appomattox Court House was the end of the Civil War. Thanks to an hour and a half drive, the National Park Service and guide, I learned more about that last sentence. . . .
