To celebrate Cole's birthday, we walked down the street to Guapo's for dinner.
On Monday, Cole turned 24! It was a pretty relaxed day for him: Sleeping in, some online gaming, a little interviewing prep, dinner and a raspberry margarita. Not too shabby for 24. He was showered with cards and gifts from friends and family, and he got the new JT cd. After all the listening to it during finals, he now owns it and can listen whenever he wants. :) . . .
Yesterday marked the start of a new, green adventure. For the next 12 weeks, I will be joining alongside America's Best Energy Team, a company dedicated to creating safe, comfortable, efficient and healthy homes. I'll be a blogger for them, all the while learning some tricks of the online marketing trade. . . .
Cole and I check out our view from from the roof in Bethesda, Md.
Welcome to summer. The sun shines. The sirens sound. The Spanish-speaking, construction men outside my window sing songs. We are pretty happy with it all.
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there! But a special Happy Mom's Day goes out to my mom, Tonya!
With some help from Kid President, I am going to tell you about my mom!
Thankfully, we didn't have to eat too much meatloaf, so she already had that one down. But she always stinkin' loves us and makes us dance, hence the driveway dance parties, dancing in the car and especially just while walking around. My dad will vouch for all that. . . .
