Flat Brenna tries on a stylish duct tape hair bow.
This week the 2D Jayhawk shirt and purple sneaks weren't enough for Flat Brenna. Jenny accessorized her with some duct tape, hand made bows. Pretty classy and harking back to real Brenna if I must say so. I approve of duct tape bows. But, the bow were for Heidi, Flat Brenna just happened to be around modeling. But that is OK, she is use to it after trying on bridesmaid dresses over the weekend. What is next for Flat Brenna and Jenny after getting all pretty with bows? — meeting more people, of course! . . .

Flat Brenna enjoys a chocolaty, pink mess of brownies in Ms. Elliott's English I class.
Watch out, Flat Brenna is back in high school at good old PHS. Things have changed some, such as a lot of my teachers are gone, but it's still the same school mostly, so I am sure Flat Brenna will get along fine. I mean I did and survived. And thanks to Swaggie Maggie, I'll get to do all sorts of cool things like go to band, brush up on my Spanish and eat brownies. I am going to say that Flat Brenna is a little spoiled with all this fun. And the best part, she just has to watch these days — no homework for her! . . .

Janel, Karen and Kaylee take Flat Brenna wedding dress shopping Sept. 14.
Being more than 1,000 miles away from Janel during all this wedding planning is hard and tricky. Thankfully, I had Flat Brenna to send off to do important work last weekend. She had to fill in for me while the future bride was trying on wedding dresses. Definitely a moment I would have loved to be there for, but money, time and days off came in the way, so I will just have to make up for it later. . . .

Cole reads the info hanging around the tour waiting room.
Last Saturday, we finally made it over to the main University of Virginia grounds to see the Rotunda. On our campus tour, we got a UVA history lesson from a second year student. Our tour group was pretty little, just six, and half of them were students looking to try out for the guide position. Who knew it was such a sought after role. . . .

Luckily, Flat Brenna is full of life and energy these days, because her real-life counterpart is a little under the weather. So, if my thoughts read a little jumbled, it's just the medicine talking. I haven't completely lost it. So like I was saying, Flat Brenna — full of energy — has been out socializing at Iowa State with my friend Jenny. . . .
