Nature walk time.

Today, we enjoyed the nice weather with a nature walk. How often can you do that on Nov. 30? Our nature walk took place just down the road at The Park. While small, it had a lot of fun nature, from pinecones to lady bugs. So, if you live in a place where the grass is already brown or it's covered with snow, enjoy our green goodness and sunshine. :)

Happy Thanksgiving from Virginia

Thanksgiving and Black Friday blur together these days, which is the reason this post comes slightly after the holiday. We stuffed our selves with ham, potatoes and yams, and then stuffed bags with Christmas presents. Cole thinks we should rename Black Friday to something more suiting like "Stuff Day" if it is going to start on a non-Friday. . . .

A little calligraphy definitely helps this free wolf postcard.

You know those free postcards that organizations like the Sierra Club send out about endanger animals or other causes? Instead of tossing them aside like useless educational mail, turn them into fun snail mail for a friend. Case in point: I have had this gray wolf postcard for years. Every time I flip through my stack of cards, it never strikes me as the right card for anyone. If I knew someone who wore a Three Wolf Moon shirt, I would have dropped in the mail a long time ago. Sadly, or luckily, I don't. . . .
