Janice let me write in her October newsletter.
Last week, Janice's October newsletter arrived in our mail box, and I couldn't help but smile at the front-page photos: us and one of middle-school Brenna. The fun photos appeared with my short article about Janice and her awesomeness. . . .

Dillon greets guests as they arrive at the wedding.
I can't believe it has been 18 days. Yes, Janel has been Mrs. Barnes for 18 days! Woot, woot!
Usually my blog would overflow with pictures of the big day from hairdos to dance moves. But ... I had other duties that day, so Cole ran my camera. Thank him for the great shots from the day. I'm especially proud of his last image featured in this blog — great timing. :) . . .

It as a sporty Halloween here. I went with the Ravens and Cole repped KC baseball. My inspiration came from a contest the Ravens were holding: #RavensPumpkin Contest. Sadly, my efforts fell a little flat, and I don't think I will win. I broke our little caring knife if that is any indication. I still liked the final outcome, but it wasn't my desired look. I planned to carve "Ravens" in the back to shine on the all, but my pumpkin was too thick and speckled. Instead, I added a splash of team calligraphy. . . .
