Nature Walk at The Park
Posted by Brenna Malmberg
Nature walk time.
Today, we enjoyed the nice weather with a nature walk. How often can you do that on Nov. 30? Our nature walk took place just down the road at The Park. While small, it had a lot of fun nature, from pinecones to lady bugs. So, if you live in a place where the grass is already brown or it's covered with snow, enjoy our green goodness and sunshine. :)
This is The Park by our apartment.
Cole found a handful of seeds or something.
And then he crushed them up.
The temperatures reached into the 60s today, and the skies were pretty and blue.
Just playing around in the nets.
The pinecones kind of gave the sunny day a Christmas feel.
Ouch. This one is pokey.
Eek, this pinecone had a bad day.
These trees had soooo many pinecones.
Each tree trunk was covered with pine needles.
Cole loved my bean pod pic, so here the silly thing is.
I found an acorn.
How pretty is this little box and pinecones.
This lady bug might be dead ...
The Park even has water fountains.
Nature walking with the best.
No movement in the stream today.
A bright find along the trail.
Cole was "helping clear the trail."
It's so nice Cole doesn't even need a jacket.
A Royals fan wandering in the woods.
Thanks for checking out our nature walk.
