Overblessified Thursday: #weinthegym
Posted by Brenna Malmberg
Big news, people: I have made my first ever fantasy basketball trade and got Chris Paul as a result. Little did many know, I have been eagerly awaiting to draft Chris Paul. Why you may ask? His son, Lil Chris, is adorable. Having him in our fan base gives us the cute factor and awesome factor all in one. The 4-year-old little man already makes appearances with his dad, plays basketball and has his own Instagram (@littlechrisp). Did I mention he is adorable? If you don't believe me, check out that Instagram link or just watch the video below.
Thanks to Lil Chris, my team has a new motto: We in the gym. That means my team is in it to win it and practices to get better. We are young, got things to prove and love the game … well, minus The Truth. But we need a little veteran leadership.
Watch for #weinthegym. It means I have a fantasy basketball update or just some news about Superlove's biggest fan. I am overblessified by all the awesome happening for my team right now. And all the cuteness. But we can't overlook the awesomeness. Chris Paul is setup for a great year with the Clippers, and I have a bunch of other super stars in the line up. I do wish Deron Williams and Kawhi Leonard the best for Matt. They will play some great all, but they don't have the same intrinsic value. The only downside of this trade is I have Steve Nash back. Probably going to have to boot that old man from my bench. I am going young and active, not sitting out games because they are "feeling weird," which is Nash's latest bench reason. Maybe Lil Chris will make his way into the NBA and onto my fantasy team someday. He already has skills.
