Celebrate summer 2014 with me. I miss it already.
It might be the first day of fall, but that's doesn't mean I have to welcome it or want it to be here. Fall means winter is coming. That means it's cold. And on top of that, the first day of fall means we are the longest we could possibly be away from summer. For the warm-weather girl, this might as well mean it's time to hibernate. . . .

Today, Janel and Dillon received their first wedding RSVP, which means the invitations have arrived. But, before I display those shimmering pieces of design, I have their save the dates.
The KU grads show off their engagement photos on their save the dates.
In less than two months, I'll be back in Kansas to celebrate with them. Woot! I've had the date saved for a long time, but for everyone else, I created these timeline save the dates. Using ideas from the bride, relationship milestones and wedding colors, we settled on this monogram card. . . .

Happy 26th, Mom and Dad!
My parents are up for an adventure any time, so what better way to celebrate 26 years of marriage than The Sundowner in Speed, Kansas. Cole and I joined them Aug. 20 to celebrate at this newly open establishment west of my hometown. From the start, I was skeptical, and well, this place didn't really let me down. In short, if you are looking for a classy, clean place to dine, this probably isn't it. If you are going for cheap, local and simple, this is the place. My Happy Mail Swap items are ready to be sent.
Back in June, I saw an image flash on my Instagram feed about a Happy Mail Swap. As many of you know, I love sending and receiving mail, so basically this event was tailored to my interests. All I had to do was sign up with an email, wait for my person, buy paper/craft supplies and send a package — all totally doable and fun things. . . .
