Redwoods are pretty.
Don't mind me, I'm just here eating my free 7-Eleven Twix ice cream bar so I can take my antibiotics. Woo, I'm a cool cat, I know. Regardless, I have a pile of images from the summer that never made an appearance in proximity to their actual happening. Just because I didn't post them earlier doesn't mean I don't have a fondness for them, which is why I am bringing them back into my view. . . .

Alcatraz Island tour with the family.
From July 3 to July 7, my family visited sunny San Francisco, taking in SO many sights. I take a bazillion pictures during adventures, which makes it hard to condense an awesome vacation into one photo blog, but I tried. I'l vomit all the rest of the photos on Facebook (they aren't all blog worthy or needed here), so you'll have to make your way over there for the longer photo display. . . .

My July desktop design.
Thankfully, beautiful ocean pictures and fireworks rescued my desktop this month. I didn't have quite as much time to graphically design much with family visiting and the massive amounts of Puffs being used (yes, I am sick), so I banked on beautiful ocean scenes and premade Illustrator fireworks. All in all, I am quite pleased with the tranquil background. Is it keeping me calm … I mean I am quite sleepy these days, but that might just be the terrible sinus condition I have going on mixed with flu/cold/headache/allergy medicine. Peaceful waves sounds like a more delightful option. . . .

Just cruising through the streets.
As I prepare to go back into the big city tonight for a Giants' game, I look back at our week in San Francisco. I saw the sights; Cole learned, read and did court stuff. Let's just say my week passed much more enjoyably. I got a little glimpse of the sights before we go see them with my family in a week. . . .
