Welcome to another week of San Francisco green knowledge. Last time, I gave a shout out to Method, a company based out of the Bay Area. This week, I researched a more down-to-earth option.

Tweet, tweet. The birds in San Francisco chirp a friendly greeting and want us to come on a bird-watching walk this summer. San Francisco Nature Education hosts the event the first Saturday of every month. I have never scouted out birds, so this would be a fun first. If we sneak along, we might catch a glimpse of a Red Breasted Sapsucker or California Quail. Cole can then let me know how the California differs from the Kansas version. . . .

Happy belated Halloween! For the spooky holiday, we carved some fancy pumpkins like usual. I just searched online, found a cute owl and added a little "HOO" to the back. Nothing too special. . . .

Big news, people: I have made my first ever fantasy basketball trade and got Chris Paul as a result. Little did many know, I have been eagerly awaiting to draft Chris Paul. Why you may ask? His son, Lil Chris, is adorable. Having him in our fan base gives us the cute factor and awesome factor all in one. The 4-year-old little man already makes appearances with his dad, plays basketball and has his own Instagram (@littlechrisp). Did I mention he is adorable? Now we are ending October, and it's started to really become fall around here. The temperatures are dropping, which means the bugs are trying to find a new, warm home. They are NOT welcome here. I am not a big fan. I dart away at the buzz of bees, spiders creep me out, and I scream when long antennas poke out and surprise me. Ask my mom if you don't believe me. She had to hear that last one over the phone. In honor of all my creepy friends, it's bug trivia. Good luck, and don't forget to comment at the bottom with your score!
