Switching to a low-flow showerhead can save you water and money in the bathroom.
Nearly 17 percent of residential water disappears down the shower drain, but with a low-flow showerhead, you can conserve water and your bank account. By changing this one fixture in your home, you reduce your yearly water use by 2,900 gallons, or 18,50 venti coffees from Starbucks. That’s a lot of liquid. . . .

Cole and I enjoy the Pennsylvania Capitol.
When you build your state capitol to impress during the American Renaissance, it glimmers. Even though I have no other capitol to compare it to, the Pennsylvania Capitol in Harrisburg, Pa., did not disappoint. To celebrate Cole's birthday, we walked down the street to Guapo's for dinner.
On Monday, Cole turned 24! It was a pretty relaxed day for him: Sleeping in, some online gaming, a little interviewing prep, dinner and a raspberry margarita. Not too shabby for 24. He was showered with cards and gifts from friends and family, and he got the new JT cd. After all the listening to it during finals, he now owns it and can listen whenever he wants. :) . . .

Cole and I check out our view from from the roof in Bethesda, Md.
Welcome to summer. The sun shines. The sirens sound. The Spanish-speaking, construction men outside my window sing songs. We are pretty happy with it all.
Cole looks pretty happy about it. :) . . .
