Last weekend, my family went to the Nationwide NASCAR races at the Kansas Speedway. My family had been jealous ever since Cole and I went to the races in Daytona during our honeymoon. They even got to watch the Sprint Cup drivers qualify.

As Carl Edwards passed Brad Keselowski, who had been leading most of the race, the fans went wild. The stands were definitely full of fans of Edwards, including my mom. To the crowds disappointment, Brad Keselowski ran away with the win, many car lengths ahead of Carl Edwards who got second.

Each member of my family picked two drivers before the race, and Cole, the non-NASCAR enthusiast happened to pick Keselowski, the winner. My favorite driver, Matt Kenseth, wasn't driving, so I wasn't too worried about the results.

Most fans, young and old were more excited for the Spring Cup race the next day. Now this weekend, the drivers take on Charlotte.
