Eyeing the vault down the long, blue runway, she takes off at a sprint to throw herself onto a stationary object. When you put it that way, gymnastics sonds more crazy that exhilarating or graceful. Thankfully her footage won't be played on America's Funniest Home Videos, instead, it can flash on big screens with cheers to follow.
Doing what most people call dangerous or impossible is the name of the game in gymnastics. And, with the advantage of living in gymnastics, I get to witness college level gymnastics every few weeks during the gymnastics season.
Before their first meet, the Huskers were ranked No. 6, but after four events and taking down Denver, the Huskers claimed the No. 1 spot int he nation.
This isn't the stat anymore, but it goes to show that the Huskers have it in them to compete with the best in the country. As of right now, these are where the women's gymnastics teams sit across the county. But, keep in mind, this will be changing quite soon.

Cole and I went to this first meet and captured some of this first place winning while they were ranked No. 1, now No. 9 as you see. Enjoy these UNL vs. Denver.
