Lately I have got my fill of suits and ties, one of which included a Suit & Tie performance by Justin Timberlake and Jay Z in Baltimore. Yes, really.

This was a concert of Cole's choice that I definitely wasn't going to argue with. (I can't say he had the same feelings about Taylor Swift two years ago.) But if you didn't know, Cole is a Justin and Jay Z fan. I've been hearing JT's newest album over and over since before spring semester finals. Then I got Cole the CD for his birthday, and the jam sessions continued. By now, we both know the album well.

While this concert was AWESOME, us and concerts have a bad history. The T Swift concert left us scrambling to get there by taxi because my car decided to die. You can read more about that sketchy but music-filled event on a past Photo Friday. This time, we learned Baltimore has the worst traffic. Getting into the Ravens stadium was a nightmare to say the least. We left plenty of time for traffic, but we didn't envision three hours of it. We sat in the car, longing look at the stadium filled with sadness. We were so close, but yet so far in stop and go traffic for hours. Even though we were about an hour and a half late, we still made it in. We frantically parked and sprinted — yes, even I ran — so that we could make it. As we were weaving through the crowd, Justin was on stage playing Pusher Love Girl off his latest album.

Standing in our seat area, we got to hear some great classics, such as Sexy Back, Dirt Off Your Shoulder and Cry Me a River. All great. So even though we were late, it was a great concert, which means the whole thing would have been super great.

Unfortunately, the NFL stadiums don't allow nice cameras, so I had to deal with my old one, note the poor quality. Regardless, we had a blast. It was a late night, but how often do you get to see Justin Timberlake and Jay Z in the same place.

The stadium is outdoors, so it rained and we kind of look like a mess. But a happy mess.
