Photo Friday: Taylor Swift Enchants Fans

She spoke then, I speak now.
Sparks definitely flew as Taylor Swift took the stage on Saturday, Sept. 24, at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Mo. And luckily, I as there. (Fun fact: She was the first female to headline at Arrowhead.)
Even if you aren't a super fan of her music, you have to give her credit for her perfomance. Many artists stand and sing and do their thing. Not Taylor. She skipped around and brought the drama of each song to life. Plus, her stage consisted of a complete setting and a cast of dancers, singers and musicians. From the pit where Cole and I stood, (yes we had pit tickets), we could see the whole performance up close.
Sadly, I have to report that I didn't take my new camera. I wasn't positive they would let me in with it because their website was vague on size. Not wanting to risk it, I packed my old one and still managed to grab a few good shots from the show.
This wasn't the only event I captured that day. The first even came about two hours before the concert started. After Cole came out from getting out room key at the hotel, the car decided it didn't want to start. So there we were, at the door of the Embassy Suites in downtown Kansas City, stuck. Cole got a tow truck called, and thanks to our tow truck man, we found someone to fix my car on a Sunday. As sketchy as that whole situation was, I am glad it worked out.
But as you see, we made it to the concert. In the end it all worked out. So maybe it wasn't the best day, but it wasn't too mean. I didn't get to meet Taylor either, but I'd be enchanted to meet her someday.
