Virginia lacrosse players depend the goal.

I've seen lacrosse twice, and I still don't understand it. But, it makes for great pictures. Virginia lost this ACC match against Duke, 17-15. Virginia is still a great team, ranking No. 11. They are upstaged by Duke though; they are No. 2.

The regular season is over, or at least if that's what they call it. This weekend, teams meet at the ACC Championship. Then, teams from across the nation strive toward the NCAA title. Who knows, maybe they will add to their five national championship: 1972, 1999, 2003, 2006 and 2011.

Without further ado, enjoy these Photo Friday lacrosse photos.

No. 15 was a bruiser, pushing people out of the way and chucking the ball at the goal.
