Silly Times Before Baby Benjamin
Posted by Brenna Malmberg
Baby Benjamin, we had a fun time with your parents celebrating!
It's baby season around here, or at least it sure feels like it. Most of our church group, and co-workers, are all having babies! You maybe remember this one from a few months ago. That little guy is here, being cute, and his parents are surviving. We even saw him at church not even a week after he was born. Trooper.
And this weekend baby shower celebrated another little, cool dude on the way: Baby Benjamin. At this party, I had to participate, so I don't have quite as many photos and I had to peace early because Cole was waiting at the train station for me. Nevertheless, I was able to snag a bunch of fun memories. We have baby shower games, art, food and friends. What more could you ask for! Thanks, Benjamins, for letting me come celebrate and snap away at your shower!
The ladies planned all kinds of games for us to play, starting with quickly shoving blocks into holes. Blindfold.
The pressure was on, and I also participated in this one. I was terrible. Sorry, Team 4.
This might be a kid toy, but it's kind tricky, especially when you can't see.
The expecting couple works together to make sure he is ready for his turn.
This little one is probably a pro at this block game.
Next, blowing up balloons and running around with bellies full of air.
Tie, tie, tie.
And the winner is ... !
These are the faces you make when you are told you are going to run across the backyard and spoon feed baby food.
The teams are ready, and I hope hungry.
The crowd gets ready to watch this silly race.
These two might have spilled a little.
They look pretty organized.
But, watch out, here comes Team 4 with the skillz.
Or nah.
Regardless of the madness, their method worked. Winners!
Now on to the tasty dessert.
There's lots to talk about after all those games.
Cutie. :)
Ben and beer.
Presents and blessing abound for the little guy.
We showed our physical skills, so now we flex our creative muscles.
How cute are these stencils, which make decorating bibs and onesies lots of fun.
Hip, hop.
Yummy in the little dude's tummy.
And special designs from a little friend.
So excited for another little dude. But seriously, so many babies, but that means we have three new members at life group. Yay, more friends, and more cuteness.
