Trivia Tuesday: Become a Jayhawk
Posted by Brenna Malmberg
Before this week's trivia, I congratulate Hannah and Max on their calligraphy trivia tie. Hi, Hannah! Thanks for playing along. It really is pretty no matter your skill level.
This week I test your KU knowledge and mine as I prepare to represent KU at a local high school college fair. Along with another alum, I'll be passing out booklets, answering questions and sharing my KU experience. I had a super time there, and I know they would, too. I'll let you know how that adventure tomorrow night goes.
1. What's the total undergraduate population (nearly)?
2. How many Kansas counties are represented?
3. You can study abroad in more than 75 countries. What country did I study aboard in? Hint: The people say "ciao," and I saw the David.
4. Ranked in the top 10 of college towns, what's the name of the downtown street filled with shops, resturaunts and celebrating students, depending on the day?
5. How many universities in the world have a Jayhawk mascot?
6. We are smart, and we get credit for it. What membership does KU have based on its high-quality teaching and resaerch?
7. How big is campus?
8. KU was founded in what year?
9. Which one of these people is not a KU alum?
10. If you like to run around on a broom, play this club sport.
How did you do? Comment below with your score. Thanks.
Cole
8/10, what's up with all of those t-shirts talking about KU being established in 1865?
