Trivia Tuesday: Name That Gymnast Answers

How did you do? Most of these faces should be pretty familiar with all the media attention they received during and after the Olympics, but I threw in a few that were a little tougher.

1. Nastia Liukin: Not at this Olympics, but all-around winner and five-time Olympic medalist in 2008.

2. Mckayla Maroney: She might not be impressed with her vault during vault finals, but her amanar vault is pretty impressive.

3. Jonathan Horton: Tried to rally the men, but came back from London without any medals.

4. Gabrielle Douglas: The gold all-around winner would rather go by Gabrielle, so let's go with that.

5. Viktoria Komova: A Russian with beautiful gymnastics that came up short to an American at the Olympics and Worlds. But really, she has beautiful gymnastics.

6. John Orozco: He was a fighter, but in the end, it was a disappointing Olympics. That wasn't what he hoped for at all.

7. Jordyn Wieber: Lots of drama because she didn't make the individual all-around, but she was mentally tough and helped win a team gold.

8. Shawn Johnson: Now she is a dancing star, but she was the one everyone was rooting for in 2008. Well, not everyone.

9. Jacob Dalton: He completes for the United States, but also for the University of Oklahoma. Those lucky Sooners.

10. Carly Patterson: Winning the all-around gold in 2004 and helped put WOGA on the map.

11. Aly Raisman: The first U.S. female to win the floor event final, along with bringing home a bronze on beam.

12. Aliya Mustafina: Another great Russian and she definitely lets her emotions show.

13. Danielle Leyva: Not only do people like watching him, they love watching his step-dad react while he competes. I witnessed this at Visa Championships.

14. Kyla Ross: A solid, consistent 15-year-old bestie of Mckayla Maroney. We will see more of her in the future.

15. Mary Lou Retton: Gold all-around in 1984. She's a pretty big deal.

Drat, you posted the answers just as I was trying to guess. You did have a few tricky ones though. I thought Carly Patterson looked like Kyla Ross in that vault picture. Also, I couldn't remember Jake Dalton's name and didn't recognize Komova. Maybe we'll have to go watch more gymnastics :)
