Undefeated No More

I enjoyed sitting hear the band, even though from behind songs don't sound quite as great.
Before you start reading, you should know I am not a fan of either of these teams, so if that may offend you, I recommend you just glance at the photos and enjoy. Otherwise, enjoy some basic sports knowledge from a non-UVA and non-Duke fan.
For this No. 2 verse No. 4 game, we had nice seats in the student section behind the band. As a former university band member, I'm a music fan. My only complaint is the stands with music. I had to memorize that stuff, and I know the KU basketball band doesn't have stands. Come on UVA, use those smarts you have to memorize.
Band aside, this game was surrounded by hype, including College GameDay. My previous UVA basketball experiences (Wisconsin and NC State) lacked this much importance or interest. We did not attend said College GameDay. While the UVA fight song is simple version of the "Hey Song," I didn't have the desire to chant Hoo cheers all morning. A student won $18,000 though for shooting a half-court shot.
While Cole may be a law student at UVA, I still can't bring myself to have another favored basketball team. Jayhawks reign supreme on that front. That's probably why the hashtags #boohoos and #pukeduke coincided with my tweets. Also, I stuck out slightly with all my noncheering, but I got some fun photos, which you can see below. It's a sports filled weekend around here, so I thought I would get these out before it's Super Bowl time.
Enjoy! And spoiler, UVA fans don't end the night in smiles and the team loses its perfect record.
