What Happens in Vegas

My bowling Mom had national bowling in Las Vegas, you make the quick flight over to join the family for a weekend of Vegas fun. Sadly, we were missing Cole because he had to work all the way out in Washington, D.C.
My family partied in Vegas for about a week, so these photos are just a small glimpse into the fun. I also have a few mobile uploads over on Facebook. They are on the silly side.
My Vegas experience started at Circus Circus. It's aged, but still has a little bit of that child-like wonder about it. Minus the sign. That thing is just creepy. From there, we spent one rainy day walking all the way down to the end of the strip and back. That day is only documented in the mobile uploads. I didn't want to risk the camera in the rain. These photos encompass the next day of walking and more sightseeing. Both days involved so much walking ... neverending walking.
The circus is in town.
I got to spend a whole weekend in Vegas with this crazy crew.
Just Dad having slots of fun in Vegas. During his week in the city, he got enough points at Circus Circus to win a T-shirt.
We had to catch a show while in Vegas, and we chose Cirque du Soleil's Mystère.
A collective desire to see Vegas from above led us to the top of the Eiffel Tower, the half-sized Vegas version. From up top, we could see everything and watch planes take off and land at the airport. We even got to see the water show over at the Bellagio.
It's not the real deal, but it's still a pretty cool site.
On our way to the Eiffel Tower Experience, Dad made a poodle friend.
The whole gang at the top of the Eiffel Tower.
Jesse and Skye being cooperative.
You can see so much Vegas from up here.
Eiffel Tower views.
Down the strip, where we already walked ...
Another stop for the day was the Flamingo. We stopped to get a drink, but ended up seeing the little zoo that includes flamingos. Definite win.
Palm trees and sunshine at this Vegas classic.
Flamingos at the Flamingo, it would be wrong if they didn't have any at the hotel.
What are you doing? Get back on the sidewalk!
Next, something a little classier: The Venetian. At this stop, I made Mom and Dad stop and pose with lots of pretty decor, such as the columns out front or the bridges inside.
Mom is quite the model :)
Mom and Dad take in the Italian views at one of our last stops of the day.
The Stratosphere rises above the skyline.
And to sum it all up, here's Mom acting a little silly at the Hard Rock Cafe. Enjoy!
Mom strikes a pose, or 10.
