Who Knew Nebraska Had All This

I have lived in Nebraska for a little more than a month now, and I spent a lot of time in the state because of gymnastics my whole life; but this song I heard taught me a lot about the state.

This song by The String Beans, a children's music group from Nebraska, filled the air at the Milkworks Family Festival I took pictures at on July 16. (Those pictures should be on the Lincoln Journal Star site soon.) I couldn't help myself but to listen. I think you will agree after you hit play on the video above.

If you know any other fun facts about Nebraska that I should know, please leave a comment below. I have lived in Kansas most of my life and didn't learn too much about Nebraska in school.

Also the Kolache festival in Prague, NE is the largest in the world! And there is Kolache Days at Verdigre, NE. Mmmmmmm KOLACHES!
