Washington D.C. by Day

Christmas wreaths decorate the front of Union Station on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012.	Tourists board the double decker bus in front of Union Station.	Union Station leads directly to the Postal Museum in Washington, D.C.
Inside the Library of Congress, guests can view historial documents, such as the Gutenburg Bible and Thomas Jefferson's book collection, along with the book viewing room.	Cole and I check out the U.S. Capitol.	Guards stand at all the entrances to the Capitol.
Even on this slightly chilly day, tourists take in the sight of the Capitol.	Underneath the Capitol, guests start their tour of the building.	Flag waves from a top the Capitol.
The Capitol dome.	The Genius of America is sculpted into the central entrance of the Capitol.	As autumn ends, the colors flare on the leaves still left on the trees in front of the Capitol.
From the steps of the Library of Congress, the Capitol and the Washington Monument rise.	Sunlight reflects against the pool and the Washington Monument.	The Washington Monument shines against the reflection pool right before the sun sets.
